UK 1953 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Commemorative Medal, Gilt Base Metal - A gilt base metal commemorative medallion produced for the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse features the crowned profile of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II 1953. The reverse bears the inscription TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF HER MAJESTY ELIZABETH II 1953, surmounted by a crown and encircled by a laurel wreath.
