UK 1992-1993 Silver Proof Fifty Pence Coin - A UK 1992-1993 commemorative silver proof fifty pence coin struck to mark the United Kingdom presidency of the Council of Ministers and the completion of the Single European Market. This large-format heptagonal coin is composed of .925 sterling silver. The reverse, designed by Mary Milner Dickens, depicts a conference table with twelve chairs and stars, with the inscriptions 1992, UK, and 1993 at the top edge and 50 PENCE at the bottom. The coin is housed in its original clear protective capsule and is presented in a blue velvet-lined display case accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
