Three UK Queen Victoria Sterling Silver Threepence Coins 1889-1901 - A group of three silver threepence coins issued during the reign of Queen Victoria. The lot comprises one coin dated 1889 featuring the Jubilee Head portrait by Joseph Edgar Boehm (KM# 758) and two coins dated 1901 featuring the Veiled Head portrait by Thomas Brock (KM# 777). The obverse of the 1889 coin is inscribed VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITT: REGINA F: D:. The obverse of the 1901 coins is inscribed VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP. The reverse design for all three specimens consists of a crowned numeral 3 within an oak leaf wreath, with the date split by the numeral. These coins are struck in sterling silver (.925 fineness).
