NL 1939 Silver 2 1/2 Gulden Rijksdaalder, Queen Wilhelmina - A silver 2 1/2 Gulden coin, also known as a Rijksdaalder, issued by the Netherlands in 1939. The obverse features a profile portrait of Queen Wilhelmina facing left with hair gathered in a bun, surrounded by the legend WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN. The reverse displays the crowned coat of arms of the Netherlands, flanked by the denomination 2 1/2 G and surrounded by the legend MUNT VAN HET KONINGRIJK DER NEDERLANDEN. At the base is the date 1939, flanked by a bunch of grapes mint master mark for H.A. van den Wall Bake and a caduceus mint mark for Utrecht. Struck in .720 fine silver. Catalog Reference: KM# 165.
