UK 1901 Queen Victoria Veiled Head Sterling Silver Half Crown - A United Kingdom sterling silver Half Crown coin dated 1901. The obverse features the Veiled Head portrait of Queen Victoria by Thomas Brock, with the incised initials T.B. visible below the truncation of the bust. The obverse legend reads VICTORIA · DEI · GRA · BRITT · REG ·. The reverse depicts a crowned spade-shaped shield of the Royal Arms within the collar of the Order of the Garter. The legend across the top is FID · DEF · IND · IMP · and across the bottom is HALF 1901 CROWN, with the date separated by a small St George and the Dragon motif within a Garter pendant.
