Three 1920 UK George V Silver Coins - Three UK silver coins dated 1920, comprising a One Florin, a One Shilling, and a Threepence. Each coin features the bare-headed, left-facing portrait of King George V on the obverse. The Florin and Threepence obverse inscriptions read GEORGIVS V D. G. BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP: while the Shilling obverse reads GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX. The Florin reverse displays four crowned cruciform shields with scepters in the angles and a central radiant star, inscribed ONE FLORIN 19-20. The Shilling reverse depicts a lion standing left atop a Tudor crown, inscribed FID: DEF: IND: IMP: 1920 ONE SHILLING. The Threepence reverse features a large crowned numeral 3 within an oak wreath, flanked by the date 19 20. These pieces were minted during the transitional year for British coinage fineness.
