Rushton Pottery Isle of Man Figural Earthenware Teapot - A glazed earthenware novelty figural teapot produced by Rushton Pottery, modelled as a gentleman seated upon a tree stump. The figure is depicted wearing a black top hat, a white cravat with a black bow tie, an orange-brown frock coat, white breeches, and yellow gaiters with black boots. The lid is formed by the figure's head and hat. The spout is fashioned as a black bird's neck and head, while the handle is modelled as a gnarled, brown tree branch. A prominent black Triskelion, the Three Legs of Man symbol, is hand-painted on the chest of the coat, indicating its origin as Isle of Man memorabilia. The piece features hand-painted decoration in a folk-art style.
