The item features the iconic Caernarfon or portcullis geometric pattern throughout. It is constructed in a double-cloth weave, creating a reversible design where one side displays a dominant red ground with black, white, and grey-blue motifs, while the reverse shows a more prominent white and black grid with red accents.
