A Vintage Derw Welsh Woollen Tapestry Blanket - A traditional Welsh wool tapestry blanket manufactured by Derw Welsh Woollens. The blanket is constructed from 100 per cent pure new wool and features a classic geometric Caernarfon pattern, also known as a honeycomb weave. The design consists of repeating square and rectangular motifs in vibrant shades of orange, yellow, and white set against a black ground. This double-woven textile is reversible, displaying the pattern with inverted colours on the underside. Two sides are finished with a thick, multicoloured woollen fringe incorporating all the yarn colours used in the main body. A woven manufacturer's label is attached to one corner, featuring the Derw brand name in red script, a red Welsh dragon graphic, and the International Woolmark logo.
