Victorian Cooper Britannia Metal Octagonal Engraved Teapot - A mid-19th century Victorian Britannia metal teapot manufactured by Cooper. The vessel features a faceted octagonal body and a domed, fluted lid surmounted by a central finial. The exterior surfaces are decorated with bright-cut style engraving, depicting neoclassical swags, scrolling foliate patterns, and stylized ferns. The handle is designed in a double-scroll form with an integrated thumb rest, while the curved spout displays longitudinal ribbing. The base is stamped with a horizontal row of five pseudo-hallmarks, followed by the maker's name COOPER in individual circular punches, the pattern number 8411, and a shield-shaped punch containing the letter P to the left.
