Large Jingdezhen Blue and White and Celadon Glazed Ceramic Pedestal Garden Table - A large ceramic pedestal garden table of circular form constructed from glazed stoneware or porcelain. The top surface features a central circular medallion decorated in underglaze blue with a floral motif, surrounded by concentric geometric and scrolling borders. This central decoration is encircled by a broad band of pale green celadon glaze over moulded relief foliate and floral scrolls. The cylindrical pedestal base is hand-painted in underglaze blue with a continuous shanshui landscape scene, depicting mountains, pagodas, and figures in boats, above a stylised foaming wave border at the foot. The down-turned rim of the table top is finished with additional scrolling borders and a row of blue dots. The underside of the table rim bears a four-character mark in underglaze blue: 景德鎮製 (Jingdezhen Zhi), which translates to Made in Jingdezhen. This mark is characteristic of Chinese production from the mid-to-late 20th century.
