A Pair of Late Meiji or Taisho Period Japanese Arita Imari Porcelain Vases - A pair of porcelain baluster-form vases decorated in the Imari palette, featuring underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron-red enamels with gilding. The decorative scheme consists of lobed cartouches containing floral arrangements in vessels, set against a dense ground of foliate scrolls and flowers. The flared rims have gilded edges and internal floral borders. Each base displays a red stamped square seal mark for Hizen Arita, with a secondary smaller red square mark containing the digits 7 and 5. Height: 27 cm Base Diameter: 8.3 cm.
