Hubley Cast Iron Horse Head and Horseshoe Doorstop Model 266 - A vintage painted cast iron doorstop by the Hubley Manufacturing Company, model number 266. The piece depicts a light tan horse's head in profile with a textured mane and inset-style eye, positioned within a silver-coloured horseshoe. The sculpture is mounted on a textured base representing a green grassy mound, which sits atop a stepped, gold-painted plinth. The reverse is flat in the manner of a doorstop. The item features an incised model number 266 on the lower left of the grass section and the raised manufacturer's mark HUBLEY on the lower right.
