Victorian Staffordshire Ironstone Begging Spaniel Figural Jug - A Victorian ironstone figural jug modelled as a seated begging spaniel. The earthenware piece is decorated with hand-painted orange-ginger patches to a white ground, featuring brown eyes, a yellow-tinted muzzle with black stippling, and a black collar with a gilded locket. The chest is decorated with a vertical row of four red hearts, and each raised front paw is marked with three red lines. The rim and spout are formed as a decorative wreath adorned with purple plum-like fruit and green leaves. The reverse features a curved handle.
