The obverse features a high-relief depiction of the deity Thor standing in a chariot pulled by two rams, set against a background of lightning bolts. The legend at the top features three runic characters, with the name THOR embossed within a stylised cloud border at the base. The reverse is struck with the official crest of The Royal Mint, positioned above the legends THE ROYAL MINT, 10 oz, 999.9, and FINE SILVER. The base of the reverse features a decorative band of Celtic-style knotwork terminated by two dragon heads.
