Three UK 1920 George V Silver Threepence Coins - This lot comprises three UK 1920 George V silver threepence coins. Each obverse features the left-facing profile portrait of King George V surrounded by the struck legend GEORGIVS V D.G. BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:. The reverse of each specimen displays a large crowned numeral 3 centered within a wreath of oak branches, with the date 19 20 flanking the central figure. These pieces were struck during the transitional year when British currency shifted from sterling silver to a quaternary silver alloy. The coins feature plain edges and were produced for general circulation. No mint marks or struck fineness indicators are visible on any of the specimens.
