UK 1997-2000 Silver Proof Piedfort One Pound Coin Set - This lot comprises a collection of four UK one pound coins, presented in a blue velvet-lined display case. Each specimen is struck in silver, as specified by the accompanying documentation and the piedfort (double thickness) format. The obverse of each coin features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, surrounded by the Latin legend ELIZABETH · II · D · G · REG · F · D and the respective date of issue.
