UK 1977 Elizabeth II Sterling Silver Crown Coin - A UK 1977 commemorative crown, struck in sterling silver to a proof finish to mark the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse features an equestrian portrait of the monarch facing left, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II DG REG FD 1977. The reverse depicts the coronation regalia, including the ampulla and anointing spoon, set within a floral border of national emblems. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule, set within a royal blue presentation case with a red velvet-lined interior. Included is a printed paper certificate carrying the legend THE COIN IN THIS CASE IS ONE OF A NUMBER OF SILVER CROWN PIECES BEING ISSUED IN PROOF FORM IN COMMEMORATION OF THE QUEEN'S SILVER JUBILEE. EACH OF THE CROWNS IS STRUCK IN STERLING SILVER AND HAS A DIAMETER OF 38.61 MM AND A WEIGHT OF 28.276 GRAMMES. The certificate also features the ROYAL MINT name beneath a heraldic crest.
