A Ronson Petrol Pocket Lighter - A petrol pocket lighter of curved rectangular form, featuring an un-monogrammed shield-shaped cartouche engraved to one side. The ignition assembly is marked RONSON in block lettering. The base is stamped with the legends MADE IN ENGLAND, BRITISH PAT. NO. 291690, and RONSON TRADE MARK. The underside is fitted with two screws for flint and fuel access. A small encircled letter C is marked on the side of the upper mechanism. No hallmarks or metal purity stamps are visible on the item.
