A French Limoges Porcelain Footed Trumpet Vase, Cobalt Blue with Gilt Courting Couple - A French Limoges porcelain vase of footed trumpet form, featuring a conical body tapering to a waisted stem and a domed circular foot. The vessel is finished in a deep cobalt blue glaze, decorated with a wide, scrolled foliate gilt border encircling the rim. A central gilt vignette depicts a courting couple in 18th-century attire set within a landscape. A small script signature reading LIMOGES is printed in gold beneath this scene, and gilt bands highlight the stem and foot rim. The underside of the base bears a circular gold backstamp with the text LIMOGES in the upper arc, a central entwined JB monogram flanked by horizontal dashes, and FRANCE in the lower arc. No other marks are visible.
