Each tool is fitted with a handle made from genuine stag horn, finished with a decorative cast white metal ferrule and a plain, circular white metal end cap. The steel knife blade is etched with the script inscription SAMUEL PEARSON above the block capital legend SHEFFIELD ENGLAND. The fork features two steel tines and a folding metal guard. The set is presented in a black rectangular case with a white satin-lined interior lid and a red velvet-lined base. No hallmark, fineness mark, or stamped purity mark is visible on the metal fittings.
