WWII USN Navy Named D-Day Omaha Beach CPO Chief Petty Officer Jacket
WWII D-DAY OMAHA BEACH Veteran's uniform to Chief Carpenters Mate Forrest E. Burley. From Sept 1941-Aug 1942 he served aboard the cruiser USS Boise, then from 1942 to September 1944, aboard the Destroyer USS Carmick which was stationed off Omaha Beach providing supporting fire for the D-Day landings there on June 6, 1944. From 1945-46 he served aboard the Destroyer USS Dyess. This is his named uniform jacket with patches. Good condition though it could use a dry cleaning.
