ועד יהודי יפו , מכתב מטעם ועד הקהילות המאוחדות האשכנזיות והספרדיות ביפו. המכתב פונה ל”אחינו בני בריתנו” בבקשת תרומות עקב מצוקה קשה של עוני ורעב ביפו ובירושלים. הוועד מציין כי בצורת, יוקר המחיה ומחירי מזון מאמירים מובילים לסכנת רעב ממשית. - Jaffa Jewish Committee, a letter from the Committee of the United Ashkenazi and Sephardic Communities in Jaffa. The letter is addressed to ”our brothers and allies” requesting donations due to the severe hardship of poverty and hunger in Jaffa and Jerusalem. The committee notes that drought, the cost of living, and soaring food prices are leading to a real risk of famine.
