Lot of 2 Official Documents - Austro-Hungarian Consulate Jerusalem 1905, Romanian Passport 1945 with Palestine Visa 1946 - Lot of 2 historical official documents related to the Land of Israel/Palestine: (1) Consular document of the Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian Consulate in Jerusalem (K. und K. Österreichisch-ungarisches Consulat in Jerusalem), No. 63, dated 13 April 1905, for the Grossman family - a family register (Familienstand) bearing official signatures and seals of the consulate. The document was issued in Jerusalem during the Ottoman period and represents a rare historical testimony to the consular activity of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the Land of Israel. (2) Romanian Passport (Légation de Roumanie en Suisse - PASSEPORT / Document de Călătorie), No. 49, issued in Berne, Switzerland, on 9 March 1945, for Friedrich Ernst, born in Cluj, Romania, 28 October 1916. The passport bears a photograph of the holder, was extended on 9 September 1945 in Berne, and includes a Palestine entry visa issued by the British Mandate Government - Passport Control Officer, Geneva, on 26 July 1946, under the authority of P.O. tel 2587 of 12 July 1946, with a Government of Palestine - Department of Immigration stamp from Tel Aviv.
