Dual-use cover from the War of Independence period, 1948, with National Loan postmark, from the Yair Rimon collection - Cover bearing a Jerusalem sender's address, mailed to Tel Aviv on 11.7.1948, apparently by courier judging by the franking. The letter was put to a second use on 14.7.1948 in Ness Ziona, and to reseal it strips of Doar Ivri stamps were used. On delivery in Tel Aviv the letter received the National Loan postmark. An interesting item from the Yair Rimon collection. Good condition.
