Lot of 5 colour Holy Land postcards, Jerusalem and its surroundings, undivided reverse (Weltpost-Verein, Union Postale Universelle). Units in lot: 5. (1) ”Bethanie, Vue generale / Bethany, General View”; (2) a view of water pools; (3) ”Valley of Jehosaphat / Josaphats Thal / Vallee de Josaphat, Jerusalem”, the Kidron valley with the Russian church and the Kidron tombs; (4) a general view of a village; (5) a further view of a village near Jerusalem. One postcard was sent by post from Jerusalem, Palestine on 25 May 1909 to Mr. & Mrs. Olin Strang in the U.S.A., written reverse. Various conditions.
