Lot of 8 illustrated colour postcards on the Jaffa Oranges industry in Palestine, divided reverse (Post Card, Printed in England). Units in lot: 8. The series depicts the stages of the trade: picking oranges in the grove, irrigation and digging of channels, sorting and packing in crates, transport by camels and by the Palestine Railways (P.R.), and the loading of orange crates onto ships at the Jaffa roadstead. Among the reverse inscriptions: ”Lading home-bound ships with Jaffas”. Various conditions.
