Souvenir leaf describing 100 years since the laying of the cornerstone of the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Israel 2012. Numbered 05459 of 6100. Technion stamp with face value 2.60 NIS with tab, Haifa postmark dated 7.2.2012. The leaf presents a reproduction of the 1912 invitation to the cornerstone ceremony and an early photograph of the ceremony; the reverse carries a Hebrew account of the Technion's first century and of the stamp. Carmel catalog no. 622, catalog value 440 NIS. Excellent condition.
