Israeli souvenir leaf describing 100 years since the laying of the cornerstone of the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Israel 2012. Numbered 01906 of 3000. Technion stamp with face value 2.60 NIS with tab, Haifa postmark dated 7.2.2012. The leaf presents a reproduction of the invitation to the cornerstone ceremony of 11 April 1912 and an early photograph of the ceremony; the reverse carries a Hebrew and English account of the stamp, the first day cover and the Technion Nobel laureates. Carmel catalog no. 622a, catalog value 640 NIS. Excellent condition.
