Lot of four postal items, 1905-1948, comprising a Jews Promenade in Tunis postcard published by the American Post Card Co. New York, a real photo postcard of Ben-Zireg in the Extreme South Oranais of Algeria with an Oran postmark of 24 December 1905, a 1941 cover of the Mogelnitzer association of Brooklyn and an airmail cover from Israel to New York franked with Doar Ivri stamps. Units in lot: 4 - (1) Colour postcard inscribed from a friend, the reverse printed AMERICAN POST CARD CO., NEW YORK, Series No. 1173, Jews Promenade in Tunis, franked with an American stamp cancelled WESTMINSTER and addressed to Mr. E. F. Lewis in Westminster, Vermont. (2) Real photo postcard captioned BEN-ZIREG (Extreme-Sud-Oranais), Rue principale, published by A. Bonnaire, Saida, franked with a French 5 Centimes stamp cancelled ORAN on 24 December 1905 and addressed to Mademoiselle Mary Simard in the Ardeche, France. (3) Cover printed IND. MOGELNITZER B. A., H. Sysler Sec'y, cancelled Brooklyn on 3 April 1941 and addressed to J. Span in New Rochelle, New York. (4) Airmail cover franked with two Doar Ivri stamps in values of 20 and 50 Mils, addressed to Mrs. Dina Siegel in the Bronx, New York, U.S.A., the Israeli sender name as photographed. Condition: good, age staining.
