Two Israeli covers franked with the seventy years of Petah Tikva stamp with tab, 1949, comprising a registered cover from Petah Tikva to Kiryat Bialik and a cover to Chicago, U.S.A. Units in lot: 2 - (1) Registered cover with a Petah Tikva R label no. 0896, franked with a stamp with tab inscribed in Hebrew the well of Petah Tikva, dug by the founders of the Mother of the Colonies seventy years ago, cancelled Petah Tikva in 1949 and addressed to Mr S. Simon in Kiryat Bialik. The reverse carries the sender line Willy Liebenthal, Petach Tikwah, Machaneh Akiba and transit handstamps of Haifa and Kiryat Bialik. (2) Cover franked with two stamps with tab, addressed to Arthur M. Pincsohn M.D. in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. Condition: good.
