Lot of 8 Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (JNF) labels, Leaders of the Jewish Renaissance series of the New York office, 1926, four in maroon and four in brown - The series comprises 32 portraits, produced in colour groups of eight labels, in 5x2 panes with selvedge at left and the other three sides imperforate. Each name appears in English beneath the portrait, with the Hebrew inscription Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael at the top of every label. (1) Four labels in maroon: Perez Smolenskin, Louis Lipsky, Jechiel Tchlenov and Nachum Sokolov. (2) Four labels in brown: Joseph Trumpeldor, Aaron David Gordon, David Wolfsohn and Max Nordau. .
