Lot of 5 Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (JNF) labels, Leaders of the Jewish Renaissance portrait series of the New York office, 1926, perforated: Henrietta Szold, Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, Rabbi Shmuel Mohilever, Herman Schapiro and Rabbi Zvi Hirsh Kalischer, without stated face value or year. Units in lot: 5 - The series comprises 32 different portraits, produced in groups of eight labels, in 5x2 panes with selvedge on one side and the other three sides imperforate. Each name appears in English beneath the portrait, with the Hebrew inscription Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael at the top of every label. According to the photographed catalogue, four of the labels are A2 to A5 and the fifth is A9. The additional images are catalogue pages for identification and are not part of the lot.
