Lot of 8 Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (JNF) labels from the Jewish Pioneers series, 1939, four designs of agricultural work in Eretz Israel, each design in two of the three issued shades, perforated - Each label is headed Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael. The series was issued in three shades of each design, perforation 11.5. (1) A pioneer standing with a spade beside a barrel, two shades, catalogue Cz14 and Cz22. (2) Four pioneers with raised hoes, two shades, catalogue Cz19 and Cz23. (3) Ploughing with a horse, two shades, catalogue Cz20 and Cz24. (4) Ploughing with a crawler tractor, two shades, catalogue Cz17 and Cz21. Without stated face value, exactly as photographed.
