Lot of 2 official letters of the Jerusalem Municipal Council signed by the Acting Mayor, Daniel Auster, dated 12 September 1944 and 18 February 1945. Both are addressed to the advocate Baruch Geibman, representing Shimon Masa Levi, Colonia Zion Building, Jerusalem, and are headed Without Prejudice. They concern negotiations over the purchase of land in the Mahane Yehuda market expropriated by the municipality for the municipal market, with price offers of 4,250 Palestine Pounds in the 1944 letter and 4,500 Palestine Pounds in the 1945 letter for the plot marked 2 (k) on the plan, subject to transfer at the Land Registry department.
