Lot of 6 Jerusalem postcards, Ottoman and Mandate periods, all unused. The views are the Valley of Jehoshaphat, the arcade on the Temple Mount esplanade, the remains of the Antonia Fortress on the Temple Mount, the Zion quarter with a camel train, the Jaffa Gate and Jaffa Road, and a market day in Jerusalem. Publishers include Fr. Vester & Co of Jerusalem and Stengel & Co of Dresden and Berlin; several have undivided backs and one is printed on an Ottoman postal card form. Good condition.
