Egyptian stamps marking the Anglo Egyptian Treaty signed in London on 26 August 1936. Four stamps, the design showing the signing ceremony around the conference table, with a crowned royal monogram and the date of signature in the side panels. Values of 5 mills in brown, 15 mills in purple, 15 mills in olive and 20 mills in blue, the 15 mills thus appearing in two shades. Inscribed in Arabic and English. The treaty provided for the withdrawal of British forces from Egypt except for the Suez Canal zone. Mint.
