Handwritten letter on the official letterhead of the BROADWAY CENTRAL HOTEL, 667-677 BROADWAY, corner THIRD STREET, New York, with the cable address TILLY. The letter is addressed to the JEWISH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, JAFFA, Palestine (E.I.), and dated MARCH 6TH 1925. The body of the letter is written by hand in Hebrew, the writer asking to settle the payment of his membership dues and sending his regards to the president of the chamber, Mr. Hoofien. The signature at the foot of the letter, with an elaborate flourish, is unidentified. Pencil notes and a filing number in the margin, the reverse blank. Toned paper, fold marks, a filing punch hole and age spots. Fair to good condition, exactly as photographed.
