Lot of 12 Government of Palestine documents, 1938-1946: nine radio Receiving Licences (Wireless Telegraphy), some issued under the Wireless Telegraphy Ordinance 1924 and some under the Wireless Telegraphy (Receiving Stations) Rules 1943, at fees of 500 mils, 750 mils and one Palestine Pound, serial numbers 50858, 17971, 137851, 238904, 283406, 59600 and 91866 among others, the earliest from 1938, signed on behalf of the High Commissioner and bearing circular date stamps of the issuing office, Tel Aviv among them; two handwritten Palestine Posts, Telegraphs & Telephones telegrams with postal cancels; and a Food Controller Registration-Transfer document, No. 00853, to the District Food Control Office Tel Aviv, dated 18 September 1946, transferring the registration and entitlement to ration cards as from 1 October 1946, with the district office handstamp. Varied conditions, folding marks, filing holes and small tears, exactly as photographed.
