Jerusalem: lot of 2 documents of Torah and charity institutions, a Happy New Year leaflet of the Central Committee Knesseth Israel, Charity of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness, in Yiddish and English, with a greeting of Chief Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman, and a 'call of mitzvah' of the Yemenite community kollel for the examination of the Torah Or and Chayei Shalom pupils in Nachalat Zvi - Lot of 2 documents from Jerusalem: (1) a New Year greeting leaflet of the Central Committee Knesseth Israel, Charity of Rabbi Meir Baal Haness, Jerusalem, Rabbi Kook Street (CENTRAL-COMMITTEE KNESSETH-ISRAEL, CHARITY OF RABBI MAIR BAAL HANESS), 'the oldest institution in Eretz Israel', a general relief centre for the poor, refugees, rabbis, Torah scholars, the aged, widows and orphans. One side reads 'A HAPPY NEW-YEAR' in English and the other 'Leshana Tova Tikatevu Vetechatemu' in Yiddish: an appeal to help absorb the new immigrants and build the homeland, a list of the charity's work (help to refugees, Ezrath Torah, Kimcha Depischa, housing for needy families in the Knesseth Israel quarters and general assistance) and the members' privileges, a photograph and a greeting signed by Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman, Chief Rabbi of Israel, who served in 1964-1972.
