Palestine (E.I.), British Mandate period, 1918-1948: lot of about 180 stamps, including postage dues of all three issues, revenue stamps, EEF stamps overprinted PALESTINE and the pictorials with the high values; mostly used - Lot of about 180 stamps of Palestine (E.I.) from the British Mandate period, 1918-1948, on 3 album pages: (1) postage dues: 31 stamps of all three issues, 1923, 1924 and 1928; (2) revenue stamps: 6 'PALESTINE REVENUE' stamps, pen cancelled, and 3 EEF stamps overprinted O.P.D.A., the Ottoman Public Debt Administration; (3) the 1918 EEF 'POSTAGE PAID' issue: 27 stamps, including one surcharged with a new value; (4) EEF stamps with the trilingual PALESTINE overprint: 58 stamps, including a pair with sheet margin; (5) an EEF stamp with the Arabic overprint 'East of the Jordan' (شرقي الاردن), the first issue of Transjordan, 1920; (6) the 1927-1945 pictorials, Tower of David, Rachel's Tomb, Dome of the Rock and Tiberias: 56 stamps, including the high values, a vertical strip of 4 and a pair with sheet margin. Condition: mostly used, including a Haifa 1931 postmark, some mint; exactly as photographed.
