Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle, Caliber .32
Serial Number: 209833B Design: This Winchester Model 1873 is a third model; the dust cover rail is integral with the frame. NOTE: The dust cover is missing. Octagonal 24" barrel is marked "Kings Improvement" along with the 1860 and 1866 patent dates. Mechanically, the hammer does not remain in the cocked position when the lever action is closed. Marked ".32 Cal." on top barrel flat. This is a pre-1898 product. The bore is dark. The metal has been heavily cleaned/polished and the entire rifle is now "in the white." Wood shows no major damage but has been refinished. Condition: Fair. Inventory No./Category: 7151-011/NRR
