This remarkable piece features a detailed view of the entrance to the choir in the cloister of the Monastery of Las Huelgas in Burgos. The drawing was created by Jenaro Pérez Villa-Amil (1807-1854), a renowned Spanish artist known for his depictions of historical and architectural subjects. The engraving was skillfully executed by Bichebois et Bayot, capturing the intricate details of the monastery’s architecture. The publication was edited by Hauser/Lemercier and is a significant contribution to the representation of Spain’s artistic and monumental heritage during the 19th century.
