Pieter van der Borcht (c.1530–1608) after – Domus Senatoris Antverpiensis – Engraving (1575) - This engraving titled ”Domus Senatoris Antverpiensis Post Hisp. Milit. Incendium Instaurata” presents the restored Antwerp Town Hall, following its devastation during the Spanish Fury in 1576. The drawing was originally created by Pieter van der Borcht and engraved for publication in Civitates Orbis Terrarum, the monumental six-volume city atlas compiled by Georg Braun and engraved primarily by Frans Hogenberg. The depiction captures the Renaissance style of the building with remarkable accuracy and detail, illustrating Antwerp's civic pride and resilience.
