English Tea in the Salon by Michel B. Olliver
Michel-Barthelemy Olliver (1712 - 1784) France. English Tea in the Salon des Quatre Glaces at the House of the Prince de Conti. Oil on Canvas, Framed. H 27.5 x W 36.5 in. Many of Michel-Barthelemy Olliver's works were created for Louis Francois, Prince of Conti. The scene depicts nobles at the court of Maison du Temple in Paris gathered for afternoon tea, whilst a young Mozart plays the harpisichord.
