Pair of Birdell Santa Clara Blackware Pottery Bowls
Pair of beautiful blackware pottery bowls. The larger bowl is signed Birdell Santa Clara Pueblo while the smaller bowl is unmarked. Both bowls are decorated with Native American designs painted onto the material. The larger bowl has a carved area of decor rather than paint in one area. The larger bowl measures H 4 W 5.5 inches while the smaller measures H 3.5 W 4 inches. Both pieces have minor scratching to the outside laquer but are in otherwise good condition.
