Vintage French Automaton Bird Cage - A beautiful vintage signing birdcage in gold, finely decorated with twisted bars and rims. The base features a wreath of flowers. The bird, made of colored feathers, sits on a pedestal decorated with vines.  The cage has a winding mechanism and is marked France on the underside.  Measuring H 11.5 W 6.5 inches  Condition: some dents and loss to the gilt. The bird singing is faint. The head turns as should.
