Ten Piece George Falkenberg Sterling Silver Tea Service Set - This is a beautiful ten-piece sterling silver tea service set made by Georges Falkenberg. Georges Falkenberg was a prominent private goldsmith in France between 1880 and 1920. Seven of the pieces are adorned with ivory pieces as handles. Each piece is marked with Georges Falkenberg's maker's mark. The tray measures H 2.5 x W 28 x D 17.5 inches.  Condition: The small handled burner's lid has been displaced from the body, there is a dent measuring L 0.75 inches to the double-handled jar, the ivory handles of the tall tea jug and the creamer pot are loose.  Total weight: 10462.5 grams  Provenance: A private collector's family has passed this piece down through six generations.
