Vintage Pair of Small Russian Lacquer Boxes - A pair of small lidded Russian-made lacquer boxes crafted from paper-mache with red interior. Both feature a hand-painted scene on top, the largest has two figures being pulled by three horses and the smallest has two figures in a nature scene. Both have Russian writing on the lower part of the lid. Smallest Dimensions: H 1.25 x W 2.25  x D 2 inches Largest Dimensions: H 1.25 x W 3.25 x D 1.5 inches Condition: Both show signs of wear. The smallest box has chips on the lacquer and peeling around the bottom lacquer. Largest in good condition. Provenance: Private Texas Collection.
