Vintage Russian Lacquer Trinket Box Featuring a King and Peasant Signed - Beautiful hand painted Russian lacquer box crafted from paper-mache featuring an elaborate scene of a king and a peasant in conversation. The imagery is highly detailed with vibrant colors. The lidded box opens to a red lacquered interior. The base is painted with a gold border with florals and foliage. The underside reads - Made in USSR and has Russian script painted on lower right side.  Dimensions: H 2.5 x W 6.5 x D 4 inches Condition: overall good, signs of wear and chips to the outter edges  Provenance: Private Texas Collector
